Finished at 9 months of age from the 9 - 12 puppy class, this awesome young dog is creating interest wherever he goes. Co-bred with Cathy Dupree, "Johnny" and his litter brother, Mindalyn In Demand "Indy" (major pointed) who is owned by Cathy Dupree, are the talk of the show circuit. At barely six months, "Johnny" placed runner up to Best in Sweeps twice and won a specialty reserve. Handled by Susan Beacham,
"Johnny" went Best of Breed over specials at the tender age of seven months under Mrs. Jacqueline Stacy. By 8 months of age, he earned a second Best of Breed under breeder-judge Mrs. Charlotte McGowan and a Group 3 under Dr. Lee Anthony Reasin.  Johnny finished in great style with back-to-back specialty majors as Best of Winners both days at the Pacific Northwest Shetland Sheepdog Club under judges Mr. John
Masters and Mr. Mark Lucas. He also went Best in Sweeps at the same specialty show under Mr. Jeff Yasenchok. Johnny earned his other championship points under judges Col. Purkhiser, Mrs. L.J. Runnels, and Mrs. Janet Sinclair.

"Johnny" went Best of Breed at the Nor Cal sheltie specialty in Santa Clara in February 2004 under breeder judge, Mrs. Melanie Williams. He was once again handled by our good friend, Susan Beacham. This was a particularly exciting win for us as "Johnny's" grandmother, BISS CH Braeleen Signature Edition earned her specialty BOB at the same show three years previously.  In March 2005, and again handled by Susan Beacham, Johnny repeated his BISS by being awarded Best of Breed at the Utah Shetland Sheepdog Specialty under breeder-judge Mr. Daniel Wheatcroft.

“Johnny” is producing lovely puppies. His first champion, CH Mistybrooks My Way at Milagro, finished at an even younger age than his father by completing his championship at a blazing 8 months! Johnny’s second champion is CH Caledon Wyndsong Liberation. “Mylea” placed second at the 2006 National and can be seen at http://www.wyndsongshelties.com/Mylea.html. Johnny has several pointed and major pointed offspring hoping to finish their championships soon.

Johnny” excels in balance, type, temperament and movement. Even as a young dog, Johnny’s movement has been compared by some to our breed’s best. He is vWD clear by parentage, has full dentition, thyroid normal, and is CERF normal. His hips are OFA Excellent.
